Springhill Primary School

Springhill Primary School is situated on the Ballygomartin Road in north-west Belfast, Northern Ireland. The school building is built to the identical design of the now closed Ulidia Primary School in Ballynafeigh, south Belfast. The school last year celebrated is 50th birthday. This was marked with whole school concert and various other activities. The school is currently waiting for its new building.

Notable pupils and teachers

• Stephen Nolan, radio and television presenter for BBC Northern Ireland
• Ronnie Lamont, a rugby player who represented Ulster, Ireland and the British Lions was head teacher during the 1970s, 1980s and 1990s.
• Wayne McCullough, boxer.
